We love outdoor play!
At Ladybirds, we believe that outdoor play in the early years is vital for a child's development. Engaging with the outdoors helps children develop physical skills, fosters creativity, and encourages social interactions. also providing a natural setting for children to explore and learn about the world around them. Fresh air, sunlight, and the opportunity to move freely contribute to their overall well-being.
Free flow play
We offer extensive outdoor play areas with scenic views of Castle Hill. Both the baby and toddler rooms have direct access to an outdoor play area, available at all times. Additionally, we have a large allotment where children can run around freely and securely.
All weather spaces
We also have a beautiful pagoda at the side of the building, which is a fantastic asset to the nursery, allowing children to enjoy the outdoors in any weather. At Ladybirds, we believe that outdoor play is just as important as indoor play, and many of our planned activities are conducted outside.
Soft Play
We have a spacious log cabin that serves as our soft play area, which the children use throughout the year for physical play. The soft play area at Ladybirds offers numerous benefits for young children, including: Physical development, sensory exploration, social interactions
Extensive Equipment
Our outdoor equipment includes tricycles, sand and water trays, Ladybirds Lodge, balls, bats, and a large climbing frame with swings for the more adventurous.
